Text + Telemedicine Membership

Concierge pediatric membership for New Jersey families

The question is almost never "is this an emergency." It is "is this worth a visit, and do I need to do something tonight." Membership means you can just ask, and get an answer from a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner who knows your child.

What you are actually buying

Not a replacement for the emergency room, and not a subscription to more appointments. What you get is access: the ability to describe what you are seeing and have someone qualified tell you what it means and what to do about it.

Most of the time the answer costs nothing and saves you an evening. Sometimes the answer is "go now", and knowing that quickly is worth more than the whole membership.

Statewide, by text and video

Text and telemedicine support is available to families anywhere in New Jersey, for children from birth through age 18.

In-home visits are a separate add-on and are limited to South Jersey. If you are outside that area, everything else still works exactly the same.

FAQs

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes. Membership starts with a telehealth call so we can meet you and your child before anything else happens.

Do you take insurance?

No. Pricing is flat and up front, with no billing and no claims. Keep your health insurance: it still covers emergencies, hospital visits, specialists, prescriptions, and lab work and imaging. Membership is not a replacement for health insurance.

What does membership actually cover?

Direct text access during extended hours, real-time guidance for illness and injury, same or next day sick visits, breastfeeding and lactation support, counseling for common childhood concerns including sleep, feeding and development, diagnosis and support of common pediatric conditions such as rashes, respiratory infections and eczema, prescriptions sent to your pharmacy when appropriate, and school notes when you need them.

How much does it cost for more than one child?

Membership is $79 a month, and there is a single cap of $200 a month per family however many children you have.

Are home visits included?

No. Membership covers text and telemedicine. In-home visits are available in South Jersey for an additional $125 per visit.

Do I have to join to be seen?

No. One-time visits are $89 and you can book one without a membership.

I am pregnant. Can I enroll my baby before they are born?

Yes, and it is a good idea. Email marie@homebasepeds.com and we will set it up so support is in place before you come home from the hospital.

How does payment work, and can I cancel?

Your payment method is saved at the initial telehealth visit and billed monthly. You can cancel at any time.

What Families Say

From parents who have texted at 10pm

★★★★★

Marie has been an absolute game changer for our family. When I reached out, my 8-month-old was still waking every 3 hours to eat, and within just a few days of working with Marie, she was sleeping through the night. I honestly wish I had hired her sooner. She's knowledgeable, responsive, and truly cares. I always felt like I had someone in my corner. I can't recommend her enough!

★★★★★

Where to begin? As a second time mom, I had most of the "things" I needed for my baby but what I didn't have was the support I found in Marie. I look at this service as investing in myself as a mother. Having someone to help with sleep questions, milestones or the 1-2 transition was so helpful. When that someone is also a medical professional who provides advice backed in data, it's really just the best of both worlds. A lot of the online world can feel very superficial but Marie is very much a normal mom who wants the best for her clients.

★★★★★

Marie is seriously the best! Always available to help answer any question with compassion, knowledge, and a realistic approach. She has such a unique point of view with her medical background and motherhood experience which really creates the best realistic advice!
